[Liveblog] Prison-Industrial Complex 101 Teach-In

The prison-industrial complex (PIC), as defined by Critical Resistance, refers to the vast networks of institutions and systems that promote “the overlapping interests of government and industry that use surveillance, policing, and imprisonment as solutions to economic, social and political problems.”

Come to a teach-in where we’ll discuss the history of these institutions, their modern manifestations, and potential futures.

Discussions will be facilitated by Brown U. and RISD students with the support of many other folks.
